David Wilsher

David is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor who works with older teens and adults (age 17 years and up), families, and couples. He specializes in treating people suffering from drug, alcohol, and other forms of addiction.  David has worked extensively with individuals and couples dealing with marital and child rearing difficulties.  He also has extensive experience working with children and teens struggling with a wide range of issues including ADHD, school, attachment, divorce/separation, trauma, grief, anxiety, depression and conduct.

David uses a variety of approaches including multicultural, family systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Eastern and Western approaches including mindfulness, Jungian and Gestalt Therapy.

Education and Training

David received his undergraduate degree at University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ and his Masters Degree in Counselor Education at University of Wisconsin – Whitewater.
